MHCC Project Update & Meeting with Canadian Ministers of Health

Health Ministers Meeting

I was privileged to receive an invitation to present our Stepped Care 2.0 model last month in Winnipeg to the Canadian Provincial and Territorial Ministers of Health. They were particularly interested in learning about the implementation of Stepped Care 2.0 and e-mental health across Newfoundland and Labrador.

MHCC SC2.0 e-Mental Health Project Update

Just last week we completed site visits in all regions of the Province for the 17 clinics. During the visits we worked on adaptation of the SC2.0 model through co-design visioning workshops. The key was to allow for integration of the unique circumstances, energy, challenges, strengths and successes of each site to inform the creation of the local care system. Over the next six months, we will engage in community of practice webinars, consultations and case conferences to further develop and realize the visioning process.
